American Cancer Society

Our Team Members are so passionate about the impact cancer has had on members of our team and their families, they formed an internal committee to fundraise and raise awareness through events, campaigns, and volunteering. In 2023 and 2024, along with Visit Tuscaloosa, Team Members organized and hosted the Oktoberfest 5K in downtown Tuscaloosa—in 2024, more than 2,700 people attended. Team Members also organized the Mercedes-Benz 5K to benefit the American Cancer Society, with 517 runners participating.
