Open Enrollment may be behind us, but the support available to you at MBUSI doesn’t end there. We are proud to offer a variety of programs to help you learn, grow, stay healthy, and take care of what matters most all year long.

Commitment is more than showing up. It’s about what happens because we show up. When every Team Member is here, on time, and ready, it builds trust and shows pride in our work, and we can operate like a well-oiled machine. It means your coworkers can count on you, you can count on them, and together we can achieve more.

Over the last year, we’ve been focused on compensation and benefits and making decisions that best support you – our amazing Team Members. As Open Enrollment approaches, our focus remains on offering options that help you and your families stay well, feel secure, and thrive – both at work and at home.

Each day, we accomplish great things here at MBUSI, and every Team Member has a role in our success. To celebrate each of you, I am excited to announce we are hosting Family Day in spring 2026. Family Day is our way of saying thank you, and of honoring you and your families by celebrating the people who make our success possible, both at work and at home.

Last week’s Transformation Conference brought together leaders from across MBUSI for meaningful conversations about where we are, where we’re headed, and how we’ll get there together. It was a time to connect, collaborate, and align on the actions that will keep our momentum strong for the rest of the year, and ensure that we can continue to support our Team Members.

We are midway through the year, and I am proud of the ongoing focus we all have on our values of Safety, Quality and Integrity. These values are our guiding principles and this week I want to focus on Quality, which is at the core of everything we do.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last week at the All Team Meetings, and to every single one of you who brings dedication, passion, and purpose to our work at MBUSI. We are incredibly grateful for the energy you put into what you do, and we are excited about the path we are on, together.

Welcome back, Team MBUSI. I hope you had a chance to recharge during the shutdown and want to give a special thank you to those of you who were here, keeping things running smoothly.

Sports teams thrive when all the players show up ready to go. The same is true at MBUSI. We are better together, and each Team Member contributes to our success.

We are almost halfway through the calendar year, so I’d like to take a moment and reflect on the progress we’ve made, specifically with our compensation and benefits.

This year is all about YOU, our exceptional people and valued Team Members. In 2025 and beyond, we’re following a people-focused strategy that helps us hear directly from you, address issues quickly and efficiently, and support you in your career at MBUSI.

As I look back on the last year, it’s our Team Members that makes us great – your spirit, commitment and willingness to give your best performance drives us forward.

As one of the largest corporate citizens in Alabama, we have a responsibility to show up – not just for our Team Members – but for the communities that support and surround us.

You asked for more support, and we listened. That’s why we’re happy to introduce our new Team Member Advocacy Group. This group will further increase our ability to hear and address Team Member concerns, and provide real-time support, guidance, and resources.

2025 is off to a great start, and that’s because of you – our Team Members. Each of you has made a positive impact on our organization and kept our momentum going. No matter the situation, we show up for each other and harness the power of teamwork and collaboration. Thank you for all you do!
